Natural Human Philosophy (Entry version)

Natural Human Philosophy is a systematic and scientific philosophical system composed entirely of Yuan Xihao and Yuan Haidan within the paradigm of natural science, through a comprehensive exploration of complex issues such as the human nature of survival and reproduction, the ability of humans to break through the two natural laws of ecosystem and genetic mechanisms, the cultural cloud phenomenon of humans, and the unique third nature of Homo sapiens, etc. Natural Human Philosophy has pushed human philosophy to a new level that conforms to science, giving it a philosophical foundation for solving global problems and laying a common logical starting point for various fields of social sciences and humanities . [1] [2] The Natural Human Philosophy is based on a series of articles and books published by Yuan Xihao and Yuan Haidan. It completely eliminates supernatural factors, transcends the boundaries of traditional philosophical exploration, and integrates scientific principles into its philosophical framework. Natural Human Philosophy is also a natural science. This is an open philosophical system of science, which is a philosophical system about humanity that can be continuously revised and improved through the discovery of new evidence and theories by science.

Scientific and factual basis

The Natural Human Philosophy firstly centers on the three ultimate philosophical questions of human beings, namely, where we came from, who we are, and where we are going, and puts forward the following scientific grounds and factual foundations .[1]

Humans have partially broken through the constraints of the ecosystem

The Natural Human Philosophy believes that, according to evolutionary biology, archaeology, anthropological evidence and ecological theory, each species has its own unique ecological niche, and a species can only occupy one ecological niche. We partially broke through the ecosystem constraints of hundreds of thousands of years of Homo sapiens evolution about 60,000 to 70,000 years ago, and in less than 50,000 years we have rapidly spread out into almost all major terrestrial ecosystems on the planet,  [1] occupying a super ecological niche that is unparalleled in the history of living things;  [2] a discovery that was a world first by the Natural Human Philosophy. Subsequently Heather Heying and Brett Weinstein announced a similar discovery in “A Hunter-Gatherer's Guide to the 21st Century: Evolution and the Challenges of Modern Life Hardcover”: "Humans have occupied ecological niche after ecological niche, dramatically expanding their own living space and also developing their abilities to the extreme within various specific spaces, which breaks the natural laws of ecological niches with unforeseen consequences ". [4]

Humans partially break through the constraints of genetic mechanisms

The Natural Human Philosophy believes that: according to evolutionary biology, archaeology, anthropological evidence and the theory of genetics, we partially broke through the biological reproduction controlled by its own genetic mechanism about 12,000 years ago, and succeeded in genetic intervention in some animals and plants, which is a fact generally recognized by the scientific community. As a result, Homo sapiens gradually developed agriculture and animal husbandry, and abandoned the gatherer-hunter life that human beings had evolved over millions of years to settle down, and there was an essential change in the way human beings lived; [1]

Crossing the boundaries of ecosystems and genetic mechanisms is called transgression

Homo sapiens partially broke through the two major mechanisms that have characterized biological evolution for 3.5 billion years, i.e., biological populations are regulated by ecosystems and biological reproduction is controlled by their own genetic mechanisms; these two major breakthroughs are called transgressions (i.e., transgressions of the boundaries of living things), and these two major breakthroughs are two major symbols of transgressions. [1]

The third nature of Homo sapiens:

Based on the latest progress in the fields of evolutionary biology, archaeology, anthropology, molecular genetics and brain neuroscience, Yuan Xihao and Yuan Haidan have discovered that Homo sapiens, in addition to the animal nature of survival and reproduction, also has a nature that has not been evolved in any other animals, which is called the third nature of Homo sapiens. The third nature of Homo sapiens consists of at least 10 types of brain adaptors: Homo sapiens will always have the potential to be eager and insatiable in the pursuit of anything, including their own survival and reproduction activities; always curious and inquisitive, thirsting for wisdom, and full of motivation to innovate; more controlled by secondary rewards, and even consider some extremely abstract concepts, such as ideology, as rewards; interpreting and making assumptions based solely on perceptions, Establishes order, creates rules, improvises, and interprets the "meaning" of behavior; imitates, learns, and teaches; is aesthetically and artistically inclined; covets virtual reality, can reason about unseen forces, builds concepts about the unknowable, and can adapt to different environments by separating the real from the virtual; fantasizes about the future and presents new scenarios in montages. montage of new scenarios; the ability of multiple systems of the brain to communicate with each other; changeable values; conscious reflection and even the ability to question and adjust automated homeostasis, set socio-cultural homeostasis above the ideal range required for survival, etc.; and at least ten other properties, which are derived from the scientific findings of the famous brain scientists, Gerald M. Edelman, Michael S. Gazzaniga, Antonio Damasio, Daniel Bor, Patricia Churchland, Vilayanur Ramachandran, David M. Eagleman, Stanislas Dehaene, and many more. As brain science advances, more brain adaptors will be discovered. The existence of a nature in humans that distinguishes them from all other animals is also the default premise of all psychology, and it can now be argued that this nature is the the third nature of Homo sapiens [1]. Vilayanur Ramachandran, the renowned brain neuroscientist whom geneticist Dawkins called the Marco Polo of brain neuroscience, endorsed the findings of Sihao Yuan and Haidan Yuan. [2]

Cultural clouds are self-evident facts

All cultures of all mankind since the formation of the Homo sapiens species are called culture clouds. The culture cloud includes the centralized or decentralized culture of Homo sapiens in any period and in any state of aggregation, whether it is preserved or not. The culture cloud is in some ways similar to the appearance or disappearance of clouds, their dispersion and fragmentation, and even their elusiveness. Civilizations are localized cultural clouds. Cultural clouds are self-evident facts. [1]

This constitutes the three cornerstones of Natural Human Philosophy:

The first cornerstone: we are transgressing from animals, partially breaking through the fact that biological populations are regulated by ecosystems and biological reproduction is controlled by their own genetic mechanisms are the two main signs of transgression;.

The second cornerstone: we have evolved the "third nature of Homo sapiens", which is unique to Homo sapiens in the animal kingdom;

The third cornerstone: the culture cloud: all cultures since the formation of the Homo sapiens species are called culture clouds, which are self-evident facts;

The first and second cornerstones scientifically distinguish Homo sapiens from animals in the dimension of natural law, even though Homo sapiens is still an animal. [1]

The Natural Human Philosophical System

Based on the scientific grounds and factual foundations of the ultimate questions raised about human beings, through the construction of the philosophical framework of Natural Human Philosophy, as well as the pursuit and exploration of a series of human-related philosophical questions under this framework, Yuan Xihao and Yuan Haidan constructed a scientific and rigorous philosophical system of Natural Human Philosophy. [1]

Framework of Natural Human Philosophy

The Framework of Natural Human Philosophy also known as the philosophical framework of the Third Nature of Homo sapiens, is a philosophical conceptual framework established under the paradigm of natural sciences: starting from the three major natures of Homo sapiens and the three cornerstones, it is judged that Homo sapiens has transgressed the boundaries through synergistic evolution with culture under the driving force of the third nature; The three major natures of Homo sapiens, i.e., the nature of survival, the nature of reproduction, and the third nature, are manifested in the biological nature of Homo sapiens; Homo sapiens transgressing the boundaries manifests in the superposition of the biological and the cultural Each individual Homo sapiens manifests a specific superposition state under the action of its superposition, and the superposition state is a dynamic state; the interaction of superposition humans and culture produces the phenomenon of culture cloud; the mechanism of culture cloud formation is a blind mechanism; the interaction of superposition humans and culture cloud becomes the driving force of history and forms history; the main driving force behind the two cornerstones of human transgressions and culture cloud is the third nature of Homo sapiens; this framework not only thoroughly studies the nature of human beings, but also provides an insight into the nature of the human race, the nature of human beings and their cultural and cultural characteristics. framework not only delves into the nature of human beings, but also blends scientificity with deep thinking, providing a unique scientific perspective for understanding human existence and human society. [1]

Answer where we came from

We are from the anatomical species of Homo sapiens (still animals) formed 200,000 years ago, since the beginning of 60,000 or 70,000 years ago to the completion of the two major transgressions about 12,000 years ago; partially breaking through the biological populations subject to ecosystem moderation, biological reproduction controlled by their own genetic mechanisms are the two major markers of where we come from . [1]

Answer who we are

We are Homo sapiens who have evolved a third nature after having the nature of survival and reproduction, and are Homo sapiens who have partially broken through the ecosystem mechanism and biogenetic mechanism, thus transgressing the biological boundaries. We are no longer completely controlled by ecosystems and genetic mechanisms, but we still have to rely on the largest ecosystem, the biosphere, and the genetic mechanisms of our species to survive. Gradually, in the interaction of our third nature and the cultural cloud, we developed the potential to behave arbitrarily under the laws of physics, and have evolved to the point where (1) we can arbitrarily intervene in and destroy ecosystems and artificial ecosystems, such as large-scale man-made agriculture and livestock farming, and (2) we are continually intervening in an ever-expanding way in the genetic mechanisms of organisms, including our own; these form an unbridgeable gulf between us and the animals, and are the cause of good and evil. This is the first time that mankind has scientifically defined the boundaries between human beings and animals, as well as the sources and causes of good and evil in human beings. Apart from us, all plants and animals are still to this day controlled solely by the moderation of their ecosystems and their own genetic mechanisms, therefore, there is no question of good or evil; [1]

Superpowers

Any power that exceeds the capabilities of pre-transgressive human communities is called a superpower, including organisational and intangible powers. Superpowers are the product of cultural clouds. Organisational forces such as states, international organisations, governments, armies, political parties, schools, hospitals, businesses, trade organisations, professional associations, trade unions, charities, religious organisations and so on are common in modern societies, and legally, organisational forces can be recognised as legal persons, and thus have a sort of independent socio-economic status similar to that of natural persons. Intangible forces are such as the systematic variety of laws, religions, texts, sciences, disciplines, ideologies, doctrines, and so on, made up of words and symbols.

Are the agendas, goals and consequences of the actions of these various superpowers in the interest of us as individuals, communities, species and the biosphere as a whole? Do these superpowers have the ability to perceive, correct, and stop the consequences of their actions in the ultimate interest of our survival? Where will the combined forces of these superpowers push us?

The question of superpowers has long been one of the major questions of human philosophy. Superpowers of all shapes, sizes and intricacies have become the mainstay of society, together forming the masters of our lives and the main players in all the contradictions in human society and even in the biosphere.

Definition of good and evil

Under the "framework of Natural Human Philosophy", based on the only environment we rely on for survival is the biosphere, our species can only rely on our gene pool for reproduction, our three evolved natures and social adaptations, and the cultural cloud's interactions and roles with us, it is natural and logical to define good and evil as the correctness or incorrectness of the human behavior and its consequences at different levels consequences on the following different levels of right and wrong judgment. Thus, the definition of good and evil for all homo sapiens behaviors and their consequences is as follows:

1. Biosphere: Making the biosphere more suitable for human survival is good, and the opposite is evil;

2. Homo sapiens species: not destroying the reproduction of Homo sapiens species or prolonging the survival of Homo sapiens species is good, and vice versa is evil;

3, Homo sapiens individual and Homo sapiens community animal nature: not to destroy the survival and reproduction of Homo sapiens individual and community nature, evolutionary moral and emotional needs or to improve the survival and reproduction of Homo sapiens individual and community nature, evolutionary moral and emotional needs for the good, and vice versa for the evil. Homo sapiens individuals and communities do not produce harm to each other is good, and vice versa is evil;

4, The third nature of Homo sapiens: in line with the above good on the basis of the third nature of Homo sapiens to be able to play a moderate good, and vice versa for evil;

5. Homo sapiens superpower: On the basis of meeting the above goodness, Homo sapiens superpower can develop into goodness, and vice versa. It is good that there is no harm between the superpowers of Homo sapiens, and vice versa;

6. Noosphere: On the basis of meeting the above goodness, the development of noosphere does not destroy or even improve the biosphere, which is good. At least noosphere cannot destroy the self-regulation ability of the biosphere, and vice versa is evil;

7. Cultural sorting and correction: All thoughts, rules, and behaviors that do not meet the above definitions of good and evil since human transcendence are corrected through cultural sorting and correction, forming a correction mechanism that meets the above definitions of good and evil.

According to the scientific definition of the problem of good and evil, the definition at the meta ethical level can be smoothly resolved accordingly; And based on this, it can smoothly enter various fields of ethics; [1]

What is and what should be

It is a conclusion in natural science and logic that humans cannot derive "what should be" from "what is". This is also a "should be" problem that ethics has always been unable to solve. However, when we use scientific theories to solve practical problems, we can reason and calculate based on the existing theoretical knowledge and experimental data to conclude what should be. The Natural Human Philosophyity's scientific theories and definitions of good and evil, based on scientific grounds and facts, state that the natural world is orderly and conforms to all the laws of nature. While our transgressions have allowed us to partially break the laws of the ecosystem and the laws of the genetic mechanism, our survival and reproduction still cannot be separated from the ecosystem (especially the biosphere, which is the largest ecosystem) and the genetic mechanism. In other words, we are both dependent on the two main mechanisms and no longer completely subject to them. As we transgress the boundary and interact with the third nature of Homo sapiens and the cultural cloud, we gradually develop the potential to behave arbitrarily under the laws of physics, and these abilities continue to produce evils whose negative consequences (i.e., global crises) for the biosphere and for our own species are becoming increasingly apparent. Homo sapiens already knows this, survival or destruction, Homo sapiens must make scientific choices and formulate scientific laws according to the laws of nature, so that we can be able to coexist with the two mechanisms in the long term in the case of a breakthrough in the two mechanisms, which is the basis of all ethics of human beings, that is, the "should be" of humanity; [2]

The comprehensive construction of ethics

On the basis of the philosophical framework of the Natural Human Philosophy and the definition of good and evil, the research, construction and development of meta-ethics is carried out, and the comprehensive construction of the system of human ethics is carried out; on this basis, the research, development and comprehensive construction of ethics in various fields are carried out: political ethics, legal ethics, eco-ethics, or environmental ethics, economic ethics, social ethics, ethics of science, cultural ethics, medicine ethics, military ethics, media ethics, journalism ethics, business ethics, and other various fields of ethics. [1]

Aesthetics

According to the philosophical framework of the Natural Human Philosophy, the basic aesthetic needs arising from the first and second natures and the third nature needs are the roots of the needs of the major stages of aesthetics, and the third nature is the driving force of the major stages of aesthetics. Examining the course of the four major stages of aesthetics, it can be found that the more in line with the three major natures of Homo sapiens, the more powerful and enduring aesthetic activities will have the vitality. Many areas of aesthetics belong to the realm of preference, but the foundation of aesthetics and the roots of its emergence belong to the realm of truth (i.e., science). The fundamentals of aesthetics need to be reshaped within the framework of Natural Human Philosophy. [1]

Implications for the social sciences and the humanities

Social science is a collective term for all empirical and interdisciplinary studies of human beings and societies and the humanities, but the philosophical foundations, or underlying logic, that serve as the logical starting point for these disciplines have been confusing or absent. For example, Natural Human Philosophy points out that in Western political science, international relations, international politics, etc., in terms of one of their philosophical sources and the starting point of their underlying logic, i.e., the social contract theory, Hobbes, Rousseau, and Locke, the main representatives of the contract theory, have relied on their own imagined models of human beings and societies to formulate their theories on the social contract theory, which are different from each other and also very different, and all of them are erroneous. Therefore, the underlying logical starting point and philosophical foundation of Western political science, international relations, international politics and other related disciplines need to be reconstructed within the "natural human philosophical system". Similarly, the underlying logic and philosophical foundations of all other related disciplines in the social sciences and humanities need to be rebuilt within the "natural human philosophical system". This philosophical system, centered on the third nature of Homo sapiens, provides a new direction for the social sciences and humanities. By placing this concept at the center of analysis, the Natural Human Philosophy provides a more objective analytical framework for these disciplines. This shift enhances the scientific and practical nature of the social sciences and humanities, guiding them in a more accurate and contextualized direction. [3]

The Meaning and Transcendence of Life

Meaning and transcendence of life (or ultimate concern) are probably the highest and ultimate needs of life. Various religions and beliefs have given various kinds of meaning and transcendence goals in life, but the silent nature has never told us what is the "meaning of life". Neither science nor philosophy has been able to prove that "life has meaning", much less that there exists a commonly recognized "meaning of life", and that "transcendence", which is higher than "meaning of life", is even more impossible to speak of.

The Natural Human Philosophy believes that: if human beings want to continue, we must form a relatively stable and harmonious organic whole between the biosphere, the intelligence circle, ourselves, our community, our species and various super powers, then the pursuit of the goal and mechanism of harmony from the individual to the biosphere is the most realistic and the greatest transcendence; this transcendence can be pursued by everyone, and everyone can contribute to it; this transcendence has both a sense of reality and a sense of responsibility; This transcendence can be pursued by everyone and everyone can contribute to it; this transcendence is both realizable and always in the process of perfection, and it is the never-ending noble pursuit of all mankind. [1]

With the pursuit of this transcendence, the individual's meaning of life also has the highest goal. [1]

Where are we going to end up

The question of "Where are we going to end up" as well as all the major problems facing humanity today, the Natural Human Philosophy aims to provide the philosophical foundations for solving these problems: the definition of good and evil, what is and what should be, the construction of ethics, the philosophical foundations of consensus for solving the global crises, the foundations of aesthetics, the underlying logic of the social sciences and humanities, and the significance and transcendence of life, and so on.

Since the development of human beings, human society and cultural clouds have become extremely complex, and the intricate relationships and interactions between homo sapiens, super powers, the noosphere and the biosphere are even more complex. It is of course quite complicated and difficult to deduce specific details or specific rules within the framework of Natural Human Philosophy. Solving these complex problems is a long-term and heavy task for natural scientists, humanistic sociologists and philosophers in the process of knowledge integration and cultural sorting and correction. However, with the philosophy of human fully integrated into the natural science paradigm as a science, natural scientists, human sociologists and philosophers all over the world will be able to work together under this paradigm and easily reach agreement on the major problems of mankind. The completion of the "natural human philosophical system" means the advent of the Newtonian or Darwinian era of Philosophy, and all the major problems of humankind and global crises will have a common philosophical foundation for their solution, and there will be hope for their final resolution. [1]
